Cold Weather is Coming!

The snow is that beautiful sparkly variety that signals cold!cold!cold! Fresh flowers need to be protected on delivery. This starts by wrapping them with a wax tissue barrier, followed by a poly bag. If it's really cold, a layer of newspaper could be put over the tissue, or a double poly bag instead of one. The tissue protects the flowers from direct cold transfer from the poly bag. It's time consuming, but necessary when the temperature dips.
