A Florist's Hands
Posted by Becky Lindstedt on
It's that time of year when a florist's hands, which normally endure all kinds of abuse, suffer more with the arrival of Christmas greens. Cutting thick evergreen stems and stripping needles so they aren't in the floral foam (where they will act like a wick and pull the water out of the container) can leave hands very sticky. I've found that Avon's Silicone Glove works wonders. Put a bit on before you start working and it makes for easy clean up. Your hands won't feel greasy or slippery. What do you use to keep your hands presentable during the Christmas season?
