Forage Design

Yesterday, our granddaughter took Mickey for a hike at Ghost Lake. Reminded me of the current 'forage' trend in floristry. For centuries, home and professional floral designers have foraged, be it in their gardens or further abroad. Now it is a trend and celebrated. Nature has always inspired floral design, with all of our principles based on nature's formulas. As unique and natural floral designs top the trends for 2018, forage embodies both. Forage design is also environmentally appealing. Shipping is minimal, and as long as the source is not destroyed, it provides a sustainable, renewable resource. Variety choices change from season to season, further adding to the appeal. Economically advantageous, foraged items can be added to any floral creations, providing a uniqueness that can't be duplicated.
