That's How Many Roses????

Posted by Becky Lindstedt on

We often see these beautiful, voluptuous arrangements overflowing with flowers and wonder how many we would need to recreate the design. To give you an idea, Amazing Floral made this Beidermeier style this morning. The appropriate size for a table centrepiece, it includes 12 stems of Mayra-Peach Garden roses, 25 Champagne roses, and 25 caramel standard carnations, all in a gold mercury glass bowl. The stems are in water and are held together with a wrap of 1/2" green waterproof tape. Your material cost for these items would be $86.78 - $66.20 for the flowers alone. Then there would be the flower mark up, design cost (labour), the packaging and possible set up, depending on the purpose. To prolong the life of the flower, you may want to mist them with Crowning Glory, Finishing  Touch, Professional Glory, or Hawaiian Mist (Make sure to add to the cost).  If you want to recreate a similar style, using fewer flowers, buy your flowers a week ahead of time and let them open. For a one or two day event, they will look full and you will require fewer blooms. To take this home today, at cost, visit Amazing Floral.
